Is it alright to go ahead and fill my drying bin above the stirring
machine, once I've dried my last bin full?
A.
Absolutely not. This may seem like cheap storage, however the damage
caused from this may be more expensive storage per bushel after
all repairs have been completed.

Should we completely empty or continuous flow grain dryer, if we
are going to be down for more than a day?
A.
Usally a day or two is o.k. and sometimes even longer if the remaining
grain has been somewhat dried. However, you should use your own
judement.

Is it o.k. to store grain in our Continuous Flow/ Batch Dryer?
A.
Absolutely not...

Will adding more roof vents cure our wet wall problems in our drying
bin?
A.
No.

How do we get away from wet wall problems in our drying bins?
A.
Use a Continuous Flow Dryer,
wall liners or airway tubes may help, try
to dry in warmer weather.

Does an air system behind a Continuous Flow Dryer create a lot of
grain damage?
A.
Not if the proper accessories are furnished and installed right.

Is it o.k. to leave the PTO shaft attached to the tractor when we
move our swing-away auger?
A.
No the PTO shaft should not ever be attached while moving your auger.
This will cause excessive pressure at the universal joints and cause
them to break.
